Ben Stewart AKA Benjiphonik speaks with David Fleming about music and videos from the latest EP, "I Got Old." The EP was set to be released in tandem with the end of the episode of KVC-Arts.

Riverside guitarist Peter Curtis talks about LOVE U - The Grad School Musical. He wrote the lyrics and music, and it'll be performed at RCC April 27th through May 1st.

David Fleming continues his conversation with Abdur-Rahman Muhamad, the man responsible for the documentary series, Who Killed Malcolm X, on Netflix.

We'll also hear from Steve Vai. In a couple weeks we'll hear a close reading of Steve Vai’s most recent release, Inviolate. Beyond the album, a few shows back we heard Andy Timmons talk about Steve Vai wandering the audience, and handing the guitar off to him. I asked Vai to tell of this moment from HIS perspective. Also with Vai, the time he replaced Yngvie Malmstein with the band Alcatrazz... that was out here in Riverside... But the crowd clearly didn't know Yngvie had been replaced, as they were chanting "YNGVIE, YNGVIE, YNGVIE - and then Vai walked on with the rest of the band, after learning the material just two days prior.

David Fleming speaks with Abdur-Rahman Muhammad, the man responsible for the documentary series, Who Killed Malcolm X? This is a series or six episodes, each running around 45 minutes, give or take. It began as an item of personal interest. The reported "facts" and events surrounding the assassination of Malcolm X just didn't sit right. "Who Killed Malcolm X" is the culmination of over 30 years of research, and every minute is something to let soak in.

David Fleming speaks with Don Felder about anything BUT The Eagles. In this all too brief interview, we'll hear about Felder's group, "Flow," a jazz fusion leaning band which produced one self-titled release in 1970. We'll also touch lightly on Felder's solo releases "Road to Forever," and "American Rock and Roll." David also spoke with Matt Ellis, a singer-songwriter living in the Joshua Tree area, via LA, and before that - Australia. He's one of the organizers of a benefit concert for the people of Ukraine, with around a dozen bands performing a mix of Americana, psychedelic country, folk, and more. That's April 17th at Giant Rock Meeting Room Pizza and Bar in Yucca Valley. Matt will also be performing April 16th at Red Dawg Saloon in Pioneertown. More at mattellis.com

David Fleming speaks with guitarist Andy Timmons, continuing their conversation about his new disc, Electric Truth - out April 1st. This mostly instrumental album is guitar focused of course, but we'll hear about times when it's best to not play, with the voice (guitar) having more of an impact when he does hit that note, chord, or speedy run up and down the fretboard. We'll hear about the only two songs on the disc, and hear a bit of one of them. It's a not so subtle nod to The Isley Brothers, "It's Your Thang." We'll hear about a tune which feels like Stevie Ray, and indeed it IS inspired by Jimi Hendrix, but with a BIT more swing - as Stevie Ray would do.

We'll also hear about The Sgt. Pepper's release from The Andy Timmons Band, OH so nice! The approach, the songs included...

Another nice note (as it were) we'll hear about when Andy was in the audience in Dallas watching Steve Vai play. Near the end, Steve wanders the audience, sees Andy, and hits a note which sustains long enough for him to hand the guitar off to Andy, who continued the solo in the same style, speed, and overall manner of attack. (Vai tried to hand Andy a pick, but when when Andy saw Steve approaching, he pulled a pick out of his pocket on the ready).

David Fleming speaks with guitarist Andy Timmons. He started off playing in a band called "Taylor Bay" in the Evansville, Indiana area through a chunk of the 80's, and really got noticed in the late 80’s through the early 2000’s with the glam-metal band, Danger Danger, opening for and touring with the likes of KISS, Alice Cooper and more. Andy also has quite a few INCREDIBLE instrumental rock guitar leaning releases under his own name, and tonight we’ll be talking about the latest, out April 1^st 2022.

David Fleming revisits a conversation with Clifton Eddie, AKA "Fou Fou," who passed away in his sleep the morning of February 14th 2022.

In quite an incredible career, Fou Fou played with Tommy Hunt (The Flamingos), Pattie LaBelle, Betty Evrette (The Shoop Shoop Song), The Dells, and more. He hung out with Adam West, was with Don Johnson at Melanie Griffith's 16th birthday party - when Johnson announced their engagement.

When he had travelled to LA to be with a band... and the band then broke up... he ended up in film and TV - including La La Land.
