The series seeks to generate and facilitate dialogue between communities, health care providers and policy-makers.

Regional Programs

 The California Report provides daily coverage of issues, trends, and public policy decisions affecting California and its diverse population. It is carried by more than 30 public radio stations from Arcata to San Diego. 

The daily morning edition of The California Report, a 9-minute program, airs on KVCR 91.9 FM Monday through Friday at 6:50am. A 30-minute program airs on Saturday at 9:00pm.

Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! is NPR's weekly hour-long quiz program. Each week on the radio you can test your knowledge against some of the best and brightest in the news and entertainment world while figuring out what's real news and what's made up.


Whad'ya Know?: Saturdays 11 AM

Michael Feldman’s Whad’Ya Know? is a two hour comedy/quiz/interview show. Regular elements include a Quiz in each hour, Feldman’s foray into the live studio audience to chat with his fans, jazz with John Thulin and the Whad’Ya Know? Band, and banter with sidekick Jim Packard. During the hourly Quiz, host and quiz-master Michael Feldman invites callers and audience members to test their knowledge from five categories drawn from Feldman’s seemingly limitless stor of insignificant (but somehow, important) information.

WireTap: Saturdays 7 PM
