Inland Empire Matters
with host, Erin O'Toole
Inland Empire Matters
explores issues that affect people who live, work and play
in this region. Program host Erin O’Toole
presents a local perspective, and features interviews with local
experts and community members, often spotlighting area nonprofit's
and foundations. The show airs Tuesday at 6:50 PM and repeats
Wednesday at 7:50 AM.
Program topics vary from healthcare reform to the housing market
crisis; to disaster preparedness, conservation and environmental
issues, medical topics and legal concerns. Some of Erin’s
most notable interviews include Inland economist John Husing, San
Bernardino Mayor Pat Morris, Stater Bros. chairman Jack Brown, Olympic
speed skater Derek Parra, graphic novel writer (and author of Stardust)
Neil Gaiman, and beloved public radio luminary and author Garrison
Keillor.
Who listens? Anyone who’s interested in remarkable things
going on in the Inland Empire, or in how things are changing and
growing here – for better or worse; and people who want to
hear from those who are making some of those changes happen…people
who know the Inland Empire has its own distinct culture and is filled
with interesting things to see and experience.
