The Academic Performance Index (API) scores for Riverside unified school district schools which summarizes students performance on a series of tests, rose 7 points in 2011- 2012. Our USD score went up from 781 to 788.

The state wide API increased 10 points from 778 last year to 788 this year according to the figures released yesterday by California Department of Education.

The scores range from 200 to a 1000, with a performance target of 800.
