6.9 Earthquake Shakes Mexico, Southern California
A magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck Mexico at 3:40 PM Pacific time on Sunday, April 4th. The quake could be felt throughout southern California.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake was centered 16 miles south - southwest of Guadalupe Victoria, Baja California. That is 108 miles east of Tijuana.
