Bishop Barnes Reacts to the Election of the New Pope

The Catholic faithful of the Inland Empire is reacting positively to yesterday’s selection of Pope Francis. The one-point-two million Catholics in our region are led by the Bishop of the Diocese of San Bernardino, Gerald R. Barnes. KVCR’s Rick Dulock spoke to Bishop Barnes this morning about the new Pontiff.

A special mass commemorating the election of Pope Francis will be celebrated at 7:00 PM - Tuesday, March 19 at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral in San Bernardino  Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rancho Cucamonga.
