This week's KVCR "State of the Cities" segment features a profile of the new Mayor of San Bernardino, Carey Davis.  KVCR's Matt Guilhem talks with Davis about his history in San Bernardino, his background before being elected mayor, and Davis' plans for dealing with the city's bankruptcy, it's tradition of troubled municipal politics, and the path toward the city's economic and social rejuvenation.

After settling a dispute last week that threatened a strike against the University of California, one of UC's largest employee unions is holding another strike vote this week.  KVCR's Matt Guilhem has the details.
